On the 28th of October our city celebrated it's biggest anniversary, it turned 2700 years old. Karshi - the city where I was born and live is the oldest city in all Uzbekistan , and i am proud of this fact.
The celebration was fabulous, gorgeous, there was a great big concern under open sky in the evening, a lot of famous singers visited our city this day , we all got a change to see them alive, then there was a group our Uzbek folk dances, it was very pleasant to see them dancing, they fully reflected the spirit of our culture. In the end of the celebration there was big salute,red, silver, green, it was possible to see it from any part of our city , because it was high in the sky.
Then we got a ride around everypart of our city, I was surprised to see that each part of the city was sparkling with various lights, decorations everywhere, at houses, buildings, airport, markets, roads and bridjes. I liked the new big market, the airport and the brigde that connects our city with other part of the Qashkadarya province the most.
In total it was unforgettable. Now it is hard to recognize our city it is new different modern and beautiful Karshi!
